On Saturday, December 1 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) will host the event, "We're All a Summary of Our Worlds: Three Dialogues." One of these dialogues will be a discussion between alumna and Curator of Historical American Art at PAFA Anna Marley (Ph.D. 2009) and Associate Professor in History and Art History Zara Anishansli​n.

Marley and Anishanslin will discuss how making, buying, and using goods in the British Atlantic created an object-based community that tied its inhabitants together, while also allowing for different views of Empire.
