On Saturday, December 1 from 1pm to 4:30pm, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) will host the event, "We're All a Summary of Our Worlds: Three Dialogues." One of these dialogues will be a discussion between alumna and Curator of Historical American Art at PAFA Anna Marley (Ph.D. 2009) and Associate Professor in History and Art History Zara Anishanslin.

Marley and Anishanslin will discuss how making, buying, and using goods in the British Atlantic created an object-based community that tied its inhabitants together, while also allowing for different views of Empire.

More information and registration is available through PAFA’s events calendar.
