News Anishanslin to be keynote speaker at Yale

Assistant Professor Zara Anishanslin will be the keynote speaker at the Fourteenth Annual Yale American Art Graduate Symposium on April 7th. Her talk is titled, “Designing the Botanical Landscape of Empire: Women, Natural History Networks, and Anna Maria Garthwaite, Silk Designer.” Garthwaite is known for her floral designs and was considered a lead designer in mid-18th century England.
