News April 25: Dr. Minoru Inaba

Dr. Minoru Inaba is a professor at Kyoto University in Japan and is a current scholar at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. On April 25 at 3:30pm in Old College Room 211, Dr. Inaba will present his lecture, “Buddhist Monuments to the West of Afghanistan: Was there a Westward Propagation of Buddhism?” 

Currently, Inaba is analyzing the travel records of Chinese Buddhist monks who visited India. He is also interested in the historical frontiers of Central Asia, East Asia, and South Asia.
