Professor Jessica L. Horton’s essay “Inclusivity at Midcentury: George Morrison, Oscar Howe, and Lloyd Kiva New," was published in a book accompanying the exhibition, “Art for a New Understanding: Native Voices, 1950s to Now.” The exhibition highlights contemporary Indigenous art and is currently on display at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas.
