The Center for Material Culture Studies and the Media Old and New Working Group will be hosting a dissertation works-in-progress session on Tuesday, May 8 at 5:30pm in the Visual Resources Center, Old College 211. Doctoral candidate in English Matthew Rinkevich will present his talk,“'O Latent Deitie': (Not) Perceiving Sacred Matter in Early Modern England," and doctoral candidate in Art History Jeff Richmond-Moll will present "'He Swings His Brush from Continent to Continent': John Singer Sargent and the Limits of Cosmopolitan Painting."
