Professor in Art History and Africana Studies Julie McGee has been appointed the new director of the College of Arts and Sciences Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Center. The IHRC works to support faculty research and initiatives involving multidisciplinary research teams by providing grants and platforms for education and research. The center also provides support for the African American Public Humanities Initiative and oversight of the Paul R. Jones Initiative
