Art History Professor and Chair, H. Fletcher Brown Chair of Humanities Lawrence Nees recently gave the opening talk at the symposium “Paradigms and Personae in the Medieval World,” a symposium honoring Elizabeth A.R. Brown, professor emerita of History at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (CUNY). Professor Nee’s talk was titled, “School, Seat of Writing, and Library in the Plan of St. Gall.”
