Professor Vimalin Rujivacharakul (Professor Xu Guan'er, in Chinese) recently participated in a symposium (website in Chinese) on vernacular heritage and its relevance to architecture and China in the 21st century. Held at the Tsinghua School of Architecture in Beijing, the symposium was part of an event commemorating the 50th year of Distinguished Professor Emeritus at The State University of New York (SUNY) College at New Paltz, Ronald Knapp, and his research on vernacular architecture in China.
