Doctoral student Emily Shartrand was recently invited to speak at the 2018 Fragmentarium Case Studies Workshop at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. Fragmentarium is a digital laboratory for cataloging and reconstructing medieval manuscript fragments. Her project, undertaken in conjunction with the Schoenberg Institute for Manuscript Studies and the Free Library of Philadelphia, was titled "Cut and Paste: The Manuscript Fragments and Grangerized Books of John Frederick Lewis and the Free Library of Philadelphia."
