Doctoral student Anne Cross will be discussing Harper’s Weekly at the AHAA symposium in her talk, “'Features of Cruelty Which Could Not Well be Described by the Pen': The Media of Atrocity in Harper's Weekly, c. 1865"



Students and alumnae will be presenting at the Association of Historians of American Art Biennial Symposium, October 4-6 in Twin Cities, Minnesota. 

Alumnae presenting are Karli Wurzelbacher (Ph.D., 2018), Emily Clare Casey (Ph.D., 2017), and Anna O. Marley (Ph.D., 2009). Doctoral students Jeff Richmond-Moll and Anne Cross will also be presenting papers at the symposium.
