On Sept. 18, 2019, Professor Jennifer Van Horn presented "'Stealing a glance': Enslaved Viewers and Iconoclasts in the Plantation South" as part of the 2019-20 Graduate Student ​Lecture Series (GSLS). Organized by a committee of graduate students, the GSLS is a yearlong series of lectures by scholars, curators and visual artists on diverse topics within the field of art history. All GSLS lectures are free and open to the public.
