La Tanya S. Autry, doctoral student and co-founder of #MuseumsAreNotNeutral, created the "Social Justice & Museums Resource List," a collection of books, articles and videos initially published online in 2015.
Autry states on her website that the featured resources focus on "how museum culture intersects with activism, race, gender, diversity, inclusion, antiracism and decolonization."
Encouraging viewers to add additional resources over the past five years, the list has now surpassed 50 pages. The "Social Justice & Museums Resource List" has been retweeted by over 500 Twitter users, including award-winning author Laurie Halse Anderson, and cited by notable institutions, such as the National Council on Public History.
