In 2018, the Center for Material Culture Studies will award up to fifteen $4,500 ten-week DelPHI Summer Research Fellowships to M.A. and Ph.D. students at the University of Delaware who work in the arts, humanities, and social sciences pursuing research in material culture studies. Fellowship recipients will participate in the two-week Delaware Public Humanities Institute, held from May 29-June 8, 2018, during which they will learn a variety of public engagement skills, including how to engage non-specialists and institutions. They also will participate in a mentoring program lasting throughout the 2018-2019 academic year.
Those interested in a 2018 DelPHI fellowship are encouraged to attend a reception and informational meeting held in honor of the 2017 DelPHI Fellows on Wednesday, November 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in 211 Old College Hall. Visit the CMCS website for additional information.
