News Gevalt to lead virtual art talk

Curatorial Track Ph.D. (CTPhD) student Emelie Gevalt, Curator of Folk Art at the American Folk Art Museum, will lead a discussion on quilts and curatorial practice with curator Elizabeth V. Warren on July 14 at 1:00 p.m. Gevalt and Warren will highlight works from the museum's collection and note quilting techniques and traditions. A Q&A session will conclude the virtual event. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
