Professor Jessica L. Horton published two essays over the summer. First, "Ecolonial Holism" in Panorama: Journal of the Association of Historians of American Art, included in a Bully Pulpit on "Ecocriticism," edited by Karl Kusserow. Second, "Performing Paint, Claiming Space: The Santa Fe Indian School Posters on Paul Coze's Stage in Paris, 1935," in Transatlantica: Revue d'Études Américaines for a special issue on "Dialoguing the American West in France," edited by Emily Burns and Agathe Cabau. A special image website including extensive primary sources for the second article was supported by the Center for Material Culture Studies Faculty Research Publication Fund.
