The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) will host "T​he Landscapes of a New Nation" talk and book signing on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. Dr. Anna O. Marley, University of Delaware alumna and Curator of Historical American Art at PAFA; Dr. Franklin Kelly, UD alumnus and Chief Curator and Deputy Director of the National Gallery of Art; and Dr. Laura Turner Igoe, Curator of American Art at the James A. Michener Art Museum, will explore PAFA's landscape exhibition and how Philadelphia landscape painters impacted national consciousness. Directly after the event, catalogues will be available for purchase and signing.
