News Okoye partakes in roundtable at Wellesley College

​On Sept. 12, Professor Ikem Okoye participated in a roundtable at the opening reception of the multimedia exhibition "Fatimah Tuggar: Home's Horizons," on display at the Davis Museum at Wellesley College. Okoye discussed "Deep Blue Wells," an interactive multimedia work involving augmented reality, with Fatimah Tuggar, a multidisciplinary artist and Guggenheim Fellow, and Amanda Gilvin, Sonja Novak Koerner '51 Senior Curator of Collections and Assistant Director of Curatorial Affairs. A selection of Tuggar's work is part of the Paul R. Jones Collection at the University Museum at the University of Delaware. During the event, Okoye enjoyed the company of Nikki Greene, UD Art History alumna and Assistant Professor of Art at Wellesley College.
