A
review of Professor Wendy Bellion's book Iconoclasm in New York: Revolution to Reenactment was published in the spring 2020 issue of Panorama, the journal of the Association of
Historians of American Art. The text explores the multiple destructions and reconstructions of
the George III statue in New York.
"Bellion's text greatly advances the study
of public statuary in the United States, supplementing a field that has long
been based in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries," said reviewer Caroline
Culp.
