Ph.D. candidate Jeffrey Richmond-Moll was invited to speak about his recent discovery of a lost painting by Henry Ossawa Tanner at an exhibition of Tanner's works organized by Michael Rosenfeld Gallery at The Art Show 2019--the annual art fair of the Art Dealers Association of America, held at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. The Art Show's organizers filmed Richmond-Moll speaking about his research in front of Tanner's Two Disciples at the Tomb (ca. 1924), along with other paintings and prints by the artist. (You can watch the full video here.) Reviews of the gallery's exhibition highlighted Richmond-Moll's research, as well as the work of UD alumna Anna O. Marley, who organized the last major retrospective of Tanner's career at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2012.
