Alumna Kaila Schedeen

Exciting news from alumna Kaila Schedeen (MA, 2016) as she starts a curatorial collective focused on presenting work by feminist artists of colors and allies. The Neon Queen Collective presents an exhibition series featuring the installation, video, and printmaking of Afro-Cuban artist Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, a celebrated living artist emerging from post-Revolutionary Cuba. “Notes on Sugar: Works by Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons” opens January 17, 2018, at The Christian-Green Gallery in Austin, Texas.
