The Terra Foundation has awarded the 2020 International Research Travel Grant for US-based Scholars to doctoral student Zoë Colón. This grant supports scholars with research topics focused on the art and visual culture of the United States prior to 1980. Colón will use the grant to fund her travel to Canada and the Inuit territory of Nunavut in the eastern Arctic, where she will visit Canadian museum collections of Inuit art, tour Inuit art cooperatives in Cape Dorset and Baker Lake, and interview some of the Inuit artists whose work is in the University of Delaware Museums collection.
