Join doctoral student Alba Campo Rosillo at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on February 7, 8 or 9 at 11 a.m. for a public discussion on the earliest surviving portraits of an African American couple, Hiram and Elizabeth Brown Montier.
The PMA's "Spotlight Series" highlights works from the Philadelphia Museum of Art's collection through public discussions taking place throughout the year. Graduate students from the University of Delaware, Bryn Mawr College, Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania are chosen to participate in the program. Alba Campo Rosillo is this year's UD representative for the series.
