The Department of Art History assigns a University of Delaware equivalent for only Art History courses, or for courses taken in other fields such as Art, History, Archaeology, etc., with contents similar to the course offerings of the Department of Art History. Students may obtain approval for transfer credit either before or after the course has been taken. For approval, you will need to read the information provided at the links below and submit the documentation requested.
All students seeking Transfer of Credit from another institution or pre-approval of study abroad courses should first consult the information provided by the University Registrar (http://www.udel.edu/registrar/transfer/). All students must also complete and sign the University's Transfer Credit Evaluation Form, available on the Registrar's website.

Requests for transfer credit are ordinarily processed in two to three weeks. The student will be notified by email when the request has been approved or if additional information is required. You must print and attach a copy of the approval to the Transfer of Credit Evaluation.
Should the student receive no notification, he/she should follow up via email. Should you have any questions about your course or your request, you may schedule a meeting with the Director of Undergraduate Studies or contact the Registrar's Office - Transfer Credit at firstname.lastname@example.org.
