Galina Olmsted, "Problem Solving: Highlights from the Experimental Printmaking Institute," features prints that were generously donated to the University by Curlee Holton, the EPI's founder and emeritus director. Based out of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, the
Experimental Printmaking Institute is a printshop that focuses on student assistantships and internships in printmaking, as well as artist residencies and community engagement. This exhibition also emphasizes the important experimental nature of the EPI through pairing these donated works with the University's permanent collection of African American art.
The exhibition will have a reception on March 5, and will run through May 11 in Mechanical Hall Gallery.
