Thanks to funding from a predoctoral fellowship at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, doctoral candidate Jeff Richmond-Moll traveled to London for dissertation research on John Singer Sargent at the British Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum. While in the UK Jeff also presented the paper, By the Wayside: John Singer Sargent's Tyrolean Sojourn, at the Association for Art History's conference, "New Voices: Art and Movement," held on January 11 at the University of Birmingham (UK).
