Submissions of abstracts are now being accepted for the first annual Undergraduate Symposium, to take place on Tuesday, April 10. Please send a 200-300 word summary of your proposed paper, with a title, as well as a resume or CV to the Art History Mentoring Program (arthmentoringprogram@gmail.com). The deadline to apply is March 1.
Students are highly encouraged to speak with their mentors or a member of the mentoring program about chosen topics before submitting an application. Proposed topics should draw from a paper or thesis that is currently in progress or has been completed for a previous class. Presentations are expected to run 12 to 15 minutes in length.
This will be an excellent opportunity for undergraduate in the Department of Art History to learn how to speak about their research and give a paper in a formal, yet welcoming, setting. For any questions, contact the Mentoring Program.
