Professor Margaret Werth and Ph.D. candidates Jordan Hillman and Galina Olmsted each presented papers at the Nineteenth-Century French Studies Association conference in Manhattan Beach, California last month. Professor Werth's paper was titled "Manet's Hamlets," Hillman presented "Circulating Celebrity: Postcards, Popularity, and L'Affaire Dreyfus," and Olmsted "'Il se fera un nom': Gustave Caillebotte and the 1876 Exhibition."
