​​On November 18, graduate student Art McLaughlin gave a lecture entitled "The Peale Family, America's First Family of Painters" at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, Delaware. After the lecture, he led a tour of the Biggs's holdings of paintings by Charles Willson, Raphael, Sarah, and Mary Jane Peale. The event was co-sponsored by the University of Delaware Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Dover.
