News Olmsted and Poindexter at Dahesh Museum of Art

Doctoral candidate Galina Olmsted and alumnus Remi Poindexter will both be presenting at the fifteenth annual Graduate Student Symposium in Nineteenth-Century Art at the Dahesh Museum of Art in New York City. The symposium will take place on Sunday, March 18 from 10am to 5pm. 

Olmsted will be presenting her talk, “‘Je compte absolument sur vous’: Gustave Caillebotte and the 1877 Exhibition” and Poindexter (B.A. 2014) will be presenting, “Martinique’s Dual Role in Alcide Dessalines Orbigny’s ‘Voyage Pittoresque.’”
