Doctoral candidate
Galina Olmsted and alumnus Remi Poindexter will both be presenting at the fifteenth annual Graduate Student Symposium in Nineteenth-Century Art at the
Dahesh Museum of Art in New York City. The symposium will take place on Sunday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Olmsted will be presenting her talk "'Je compte absolument sur vous': Gustave Caillebotte and the 1877 Exhibition" and Poindexter (B.A. 2014) will be presenting "Martinique's Dual Role in Alcide Dessalines Orbigny's 'Voyage Pittoresque.'"
